Chair from the Tomb of Senemut’s Parents

This is a chair that belonged to Senemut’s π“Œ’π“ˆ–π“…π“€Ό parents! Senemut π“Œ’π“ˆ–π“…π“€Ό was Hatshepsut’s π“‡‹π“ π“ˆ–π“ŽΉπ“π“„‚π“π“€Όπ“ͺ most trusted advisor, architect, and the tutor for her daughter Neferure 𓇳𓄀𓄀𓄀. Senemut’s π“Œ’π“ˆ–π“…π“€Ό parents were buried in a tomb π“‡‹π“«π“Šƒπ“‰ that was very close to his, and they were given burials that were fit for people of high status, due to Senemut’s π“Œ’π“ˆ–π“…π“€Ό position.

The chair is adorned with the Djed π“Š½ and Tyet π“Ž¬ symbols, and the god Bes π“ƒ€π“‹΄π“„œ is located in the center. I love how the legs of the chair look like lion π“Œ³π“Ήπ“„Ώπ“„› paws too!
